Olive.. It is a sour fruit that is everywhere in our country. Olive trees are more common in the countryside and we also have one at house. It can be eaten raw with salt. And the sight of one's eating would certainly make another's tongue water if he ever tasted it. Olives are more tasty when ripe but even more so when pickled. Olive's pickle are just as delicious as other fruit pickles. It is said that a house with an olive tree must have olive's pickled throughout the year. Olive's pickle are also prepared at our house but not this time. Because making pickles requires a lot of sugar and the current price of sugar is 2x what it was last year.
