SISU the last dragon Just finished watching the movie Raya and the Last Dragon for the nth time. Its one of the most loved movies of my youngest. We watched it with my 2 daughters and my nanay. And just like the previous times that we watched this, still the same. I mean I have the same realization about this movie. It is all about TRUST. I love Sisu's character. She's witty and at the same time so funny because of her innocence about how the real world is made of. I see that in our world today. We live in an imperfect and wicked world with all types of people in it. We somehow lost our humanity. This made us so difficult to trust, even our closest friends and family. Sisu on the other hand is very trusting. Even to the extent of ignoring (unintentionally of course) Raya's multiple warnings. There's this one scene and Sisu's lines that really struck me and I want to just share it here because I was encouraged to trust back. Her siblings trusted her inspite of her being just like a nobody compared to them. She trusted them too. So in these photos (my apology because we're using our laptop and I just took photos while watching) you'll see Sisu convincing Raya to trust Namaari in spite of. She mentioned about taking the first step. Which is for me honestly, it is too hard to do this, humanly speaking. It is so impossible to trust (again) a person who betrayed you. But that is the very core message of this movie. Good evening noisers.💚💚💚
