Another performance task done. Nothing but modules hahaha. I have no idea but she has this in her mind already. So I gave in. Me: Anak, what now? Seth: I have it mom. Me: Are you sure? Seth: Yes, just take photos, I'll do this DIY face mask. Me: I don't think that's a good idea anak. Seth: You always tell me and ate to be authentic. I am just being me mom. Besides, if we will do it your way, my teacher's not going to believe that it was my idea anymore. Me: (she got a point) Ok bahala na. Seth: Yehey! Sometimes it takes a simple, young and innocent mind to remind me of the things that I teach my children. Oo nga naman bukambibig ko talaga sa kanila ang "just be original mga anak, huwag kayo manggagaya, be yourself". I have something in mind when I told her about my research she said I can't be like that mom. I only have simple materials with me a hanky and 4 pieces of rubber band. Believe me mom it is simpler and it is so me. So that's it. She nailed it though. Praise God for my kids, they remind me things that I tend to forget. They reflect my attidute both good and bad. I need to be consistent. I can't tell them to "do what I say but don't do what I do". It doesn't work that way. Parenting is challenging and rewarding at the same time.
