Here, I ask your feedback, questions, and ideas:
how to help others establish their Sanctuary.
Some of you have ideas to develop,
some have questions to ask,
regarding simple physical details of Sanctuary.
The time has arrived
to collect and discuss Your best ideas
for others on How to create Sanctuary.
Understanding that Sanctuary is what some might
simply refer to as a "safe space" helps.
It is actually quite much more than that,
but, for the sake of keeping the ideas simple,
focusing on what we can physically do is best.
The core of a Sanctuary begins within you
and from within you extends to where you choose.
Your intention and volition are what create Sanctuary.
Sanctuary only exists with your presence and intent.
Whether it is a journey or a place,
there are ways to establish
the presence of The-One-Law around you.
Establishing for your own mind, and others,
the extents of the Sanctuary you occupy
is an important way to deflect violence.
Much has been and still is done by ordinary people
around the world in different cultures
for similar purposes but they are usually confused
with elements of violence offered and threat implied.
I refrain from giving too many examples here
so as to let your imagination run free.
Tell Your Neighbors
One example is by simply telling people
that your space, your time, and your cooperation
is for those who embrace The-One-Law.
Whether they accept or dismiss your words
is irrelevant.
That they will remember your words
any time they consider violating your consent
will affect their actions toward you.
Another is by subliminally marking your 'territory'.
Set your boundaries
Your home or your room where you sleep
can be symbolically marked as Sanctuary of The-One-Law.
Simply establishing boundaries of your existence
creates awareness by others that
effort is present to thwart spirits of violence.
Boundary helps you anchor and orient your self-awareness.
But remember this well:
Sanctuary only exists with your presence and intent.
When you are absent, when you lack intention of The-One-Law,
your boundaries are nothing but wishful thinking.
On a journey, Sanctuary can accompany you.
It is important to maintain a psychological resolve,
braced by whatever can be brought
to illustrate the extents of the Sanctuary.
Simply wearing the right clothing
has a profound impact upon spirits
that may be tempted to violate your Sanctuary.
One thing I have observed and learned:
"Weapons attract Weapons".
The mere scent of weapons can attract trouble.
This does not mean that weapons are 'bad'.
But,
if weapons seem necessary
then perhaps the journey should seek a safer path.
