How will you interpret this drawing? As an adult, you will simply say a kid sitting on the fence. But when I asked my daughter what the drawing is all about. This is what she says " thìs kid misses her mom, because her mom is working. The kids' mom left early in the morning and back late at night, they haven't have a chance to see each other. So this kid is patiently waiting for her mom to come home, sitting on the fence.". Thats when I realized she's talking about herself. Expressing her inner thoughts. This makes me understand her more, her moods, her tantrums. It also gives me a chance to talk to her and explain the situation. So next time if you see your child draw, asked them what is it all about. Theres a hidden meaning in every lines, shapes and colors, you might be surprised what you are in the mind of a little child 😄😁😆 (She drew this when she was 7or 8 years old)
