Now my sunflowers have started blooming after the wait of 2 months since I planted their small plants in my terrace garden. It's very hot in my area, max temperature touching the 45°C mark and scorching sun. But the sunflower seems to enjoy this summer time. It's a great treat for the eyes when there are not much flowers bloom. The flowers size is also big around 12" in diameter. #MyownShot 📸 ©️rocksg🎭✔️

I have a big collection of giant dahlias in my garden🏡. They are in different colors like orange, red, yellow, magenta and some variegated ones. They are best grown in 10-12 inches pots if we want the bigger blooms. These magenta colored dahlias are the center of attraction in my garden and their diameter is around 8-9 inches. I just bought one plant of each color and propagated them with cuttings and made several plants which are now bloomimg very heavily in backyard and terrace garden. #MyownShot 📸 ©️rocksg🎭

Nature Photography 📸 ( Journey Of Canna Lily) This is my red canna lily flowers journey. It was half opened while takin the first two shots and the final one is after fully bloom. I have two colors canna lily - yellow and red ones. Monsoon is the best time for these plants to grow and have flowers. They need a lot of sun to blooms and from one bulb, these keep on multiplying and fill the pot completely in few months. Dark orange kalanchoe blooms in a small 6" planter. This plant is a succulent and covers the entire pot with its leaves and thick leaves very soon. I can't explain my level of joy and satisfaction when these ranunculus flowers have started blooming in my garden. Don't get confused them with the roses. They look very similar to roses but have many more petals in them. They bloom only for few months during winter season and when the temperature rises they become dormant. They produce claw like structures called corms inside the soil which are actually their roots. When the plants dry out, stop watering and dig put these corms. Store them in a dark and cool place till the next season and during monsoon we will plant them again. #MyownShot 📸 ©️rocksg🎭✔️
