Architectural Photography 📸 Statue Of Maharaja Ranjit Singh at Amritsar, Punjab. Maharaja Ranjit Singh is know as Sher-e-Punjab ( Lion Of Punjab ) was the first emperor of Sikh Empire. He ruled the northwestern Indian subcontinent in the early 19th century. He was an exceptional military man. He freed the Lahore from Afghan invaders. He is also remembered for the possession of Koh-e-noor diamond. He never imposed Sikhism forcefully during his rule. The most of the golden work at Golden Temple was done during his time. Few days ago, a statue of him was vandalized in Pakistan.
