Coronavirus is now spreading around the world and currently, this disease kills millions of people worldwide, and infections are continuing to rise. For weeks to come, perhaps months or years, we will have to keep a balance between decreasing the deaths and harms caused by the coronavirus and keep moving forward to maintain a good our economic livelihood and mental well-being.

 

What is Coronavirus?

Coronavirus are a large family of viruses that is very common worldwide that can cause respiratory illness in people and animals.

 How coronavirus spread?

Similar to cold and flu, a person becomes sick though an infected person. The virus is spread through respiratory droplets produced by the infected person by coughing or sneezing or touching on infected surfaces.

What are the signs and symptoms of Coronaviruses?

In confirmed cases of COVID 19 infections, common symptoms include fever, cough and shortness of breath, headache and a feel of unwell.

How can I protect myself from coronaviruses?

The best way to protect yourself from contracting coronaviruses is by practicing good hygiene that can help prevent the spread of many viruses, including the common cold and the flu. To help prevent the spread of disease always:

1.      Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

2.      Wash your hands with soap and water frequently. Wash with soap and warm water for 20 seconds or Sing Happy Birthday. If soap and water aren't available, use an alcohol-based hand rub.

3.      Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

4.      Stay at home

5.      Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands. If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow, not your hands.

6.      Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

7.      Eat fruits and vegetables

8.      Drink Lots of Fluids and Get a lot of rest

9.      Drink Vitamins

10.   Wear Facemask and Face shields when going out

Should we be scared on coronavirus?

If you are scared on this threatening virus, the is the only thing we need to do is not to worry because if you keep on worrying on this disease and also the outbreak worldwide, it will just make you stress and depressed, just practice good hygiene, and eat a lot of healthy foods.
