Happy weekend everyone. Who loves to eat green mussels?
It's already past 1 PM and just ordered these grilled green mussels. Most people here call it green shells, having green shell as covering. There's this "inasalan" near the creek and while waiting for my order, I took pictures of the scenery. The creek looks calm on this gloomy weather on one side of the bridge and on the other are motorized boats which seek cover. This place is ideal especially when the sea is rough due to Habagat Season.
Those roots of the uprooted acacia tree on the second picture is an eyesore to me. It's been 7 months after the Typhoon Odette struck our place and it's not yet cleared but everything around it looks green already. I'm thinking of putting or installing some headlike image or sculpture above those. What do you think?
The second picture was taken yesterday afternoon around 3:30 PM. The weather was looking ideal for a sunset photography at the beach later but we went somewhere else.
It's been more than a month since my last long ride. I had to look for an emission testing center coz I have to register my motorcycle until the end of the month so I won't incur penalty. The nearest ones were closed upon checking yesterday so I had to drive north this morning. The first one was fully booked until the afternoon so I went to the next town and it just took around 30 minutes and I drive back home before noontime.

I'm feeling sleepy after having lunch. The hot weather makes it tiring for everyone but I'm happy to report that I have reached my goal of earning 1 BCH here at noise.cash yesterday.
It's high tide once again and the pictures show that the creek is the best place to relax and enjoy.
A day at the office is both work and leisure. I think I have spent about two hours already in the garden.😁 The sun is up and shining today and it's something to be thankful about coz it's has been raining every now and then this past week. I'm also grateful for the rain coz the plants have also benefited from it.
It's good that it rained yesterday afternoon so I don't need to water the plants today. The sun has showed up as well as this jumping spider looking straight to my eyes. There's also this green streak on one of my philodendron plants. What makes me excited is that I'm about to reach 1 BCH on record in maybe a day or two. If not for my withdrawals last year when BCH price was still high and last February when I decided to venture in another investment, I think I could have accumulated 1 BCH earlier. How's everyone this Saturday?
It's been raining every now and then this past week. At last, the whole morning was sunny and I was able to do the laundry and allowed my clothes to dry. After having some snacks at a nearby store, I hurriedly went to town to refuel and buy some groceries. While on my way home, I was seeing the sunset as I passed by the sugarcane fields but I thought that it would be better to take pictures at the beach. The view was still satisfying even if the sun was hiding behind the clouds most of the time. Here are some of my shots.
I'm sharing a few pictures which I took early this morning. We're actually just waiting for 5PM and we'll be off for work. It's good that our day off falls on weekends.
The first thing I did when arrived at the office was to check on our plants and spot those with holes on their leaves. I was successful in getting rid of atleast five small caterpillars. The one in the picture is a jumping spider. At first glance I thought that it was a mosquito. I kept following it until I got a few good shots.
I haven't shared some photographs for almost three days since I arrived here in Negros Occidental. Actually I have just a few new pictures here in my gallery. I'm not busy with work lately but maybe I spent much time socializing with fellow employees or with mobile money-making apps.😁
I took a leave from work today to donate blood at the Philippine Red Cross here in Iloilo City coz my father who is in dialysis needs blood transfusion. Afterwhich I'm going back to Negros Occidental. I was able to catch up with the 5:30 PM trip of the Ocean Jet Fastcraft.
Yesterday, when I arrived home, I went directly to the beach and took a few pictures of water splashes on the shore (first and second pictures). The tide wasn't able to reach our backyard this time unlike what happened back in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental where the sea level has reached the road area. It's a perfect time to soak and swim for some (fourth and fifth pictures) coz this happens only a few times a year.
It's a gloomy Sunday. I woke up early so I can catch up with the 5:45 AM fastcraft trip from Bacolod City to Iloilo City. When I arrived at the fastcraft terminal at BREDCO Port, I wondered why there are people waiting outside the teminal. I soon found out that it's Sunday and the first trip is supposed to be at 7:20 AM. I opted to ride a roro vessel which is bound for Dumangas, Iloilo. Since it's always raining, I opted to commute instead of riding my motorcycle. It took me an hour and a half to reach Iloilo City Proper, had to ride a tricycle and transfer to a jeepney two times. I decided to proceed to the Iloilo Esplanade which was nearby and take pictures. Here are colorful plants and the view of the Iloilo River. It's a perfect recreational place and there are people who enjoy fishing too.
For the third straight day, water coming from the sea has reached the road again here at Sitio Pasil, Brgy. Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental. It has caused inconvenience to most commuters but a time to enjoy to some kids. A tide this high is a rare occurrence and some people look forward to it. It's a moment to have fun with friends and family without having to travel elsewhere. Best of all is it's free. I made sure that I'm wearing slippers when I went to office so I can enjoy taking photos as well.
It's mid-week and today's tide was unusually high again. The last time it reached this height was last June. As you can see in one of the pictures, seawater at the creek is of the same level with the road. Some boys just loved to dive and enjoy this moment. I also went to the beach and was facinated with the waves. Tomorrow's high tide will reach another peak and for sure it would flood the streets again.
Got my booster dose yesterday. Initially I don't want to report for duty today since I'm having a mild fever. I was thinking, however, that I'll get body aches if I stay long in bed so I went to work but spent most of my time outdoors. For several days it has been raining here every afternoon and we are missing the sunset. Upon browsing my gallery, I found out that the last time I visited the beach to capture the sunset was already a week ago. Here are some of the shots that I haven't shared with you.

It's been three days since my last post. I was busy with other stuff but now that it's Friday, I'll have more free time. It was raining all day so I was able to capture only those flowers and lifeforms close to my station.

I went to the beach earlier but the scenery looked dull. There's not so much work today but upon checking my phone battery usage, my screen has been up for more than 7 hours upon full charging it this morning.😂 I'm sharing this photo which I took last Saturday instead. I had plenty of shots that time but for me this view of busy fishermen on these two boats looked far better compared with the others.
Look! It's really amazing how a sunset could make everyone stop for a while and admire this beautiful phenomenon.
This was the scenario yesterday. There many activities that were happening at the beach but everything seemed to pause upon seeing this beautiful sunset. It was not just me who was ready to capture such moment.

I think we're blessed with a good weather this Saturday. It's a good news this weekend.
The sun has been up and shining and I was able to do my laundry. A lot of children took advantage of the high tide and they were having a great time jumping from the bridge and swimming at the creek. There was also this kid who called me and posed for a shot while the one on the left just stared and the other on the right waked away.
Thank God it's Friday!
After 5 days of work, I can finally have 2 days of rest.
The golden hour yesterday was an opportunity to capture the sunset. I love it coz there were many things going on at the beach. There were lots of passersby which add story to the beautiful scenery.

Oh, it's the end of the month of June! How time flies.
Today is also the inauguration of the 17th President of our country and we we're able to watch the ceremonies live on Facebook.
I just want to share my recent photographs. My spider plant was again blooming and looking fresh. On one them, there were even droplets. When I went out for lunch, I also noticed that it's high tide once again but not yet to the point that it would result to flooding. Looking at the creek today, it gives a relaxing view of the calm waters and the green surroundings.
Do you also wonder how some insects survive during thunderstorms?
I had to hurry back home after going to the beach yesterday since the clouds covering the sea area are getting darker and there was already light precipitation. Along the way, I saw raindrops on tall grasses and weeds so I thought such would be good subjects to shoot. I was trying to figure out how to capture those droplets when I noticed different kinds of insects from one leaf to another. They probably have found a good place to stay for the night or seeking for shelter to protect them from heavy rains.

If not for this noise.cash platform, I won't be taking pictures more often. My father was once a photographer. He was using a film back then since digital cameras aren't available during that time. At some point, I wanted to buy my own DSLR camera but it comes with a price. Thanks for the advancement of technology so that everyone can capture pictures now with just their mobile phones. So far the last phones that I bought have been of great help coz one of their main features is on photo quality.
I just love it when I'm a witness to special moments as they happen. In this picture, I was trying to capture silhouettes of boys around the boat when one of them started walking towards the end of the outrigger, we locally call "katig". He was doing a balancing act while holding a scoop net with his left hand.

The day is about to end and I just want to share some interesting finds for today. I noticed just this afternoon that a few rain lilies have bloomed and I found this one attractive with droplets right after the rain. Earlier after lunch, we had coffee at a store across the road, right in front of our office. While we were busy talking, I saw a lizard licking a spoon. It didn't seem bothered even if I moved my phone closer to have a good shot. At one point it went away but in a few seconds it was back and was sticking out its tongue. Maybe the said lizard is a coffee-lover too.😂

Do you agree that walking along the beach on an early morning is as good as having it on a late afternoon?
My feet brought me to the beach earlier than usual. It was already 9AM actually. There's no sunset to catch but there were people out there either watching the calm and blue sea or enjoying the water. I can't help myself but watch closely and capture the gentle splash of the waves. Hearing such sound is pleasant to my ears.
Where else would you spend a peaceful and relaxing afternoon? It could be a family affair, spent with friends or together with your pets.
It's raining all afternoon and I had no choice but to stay inside my apartment. I even spent my 2GB in just 6 hours mostly watching Facebook videos other than visiting your posts here at noise so I had to reload again.
The following pictures were taken yesterday. As far as I can remember, this was the first time that the sea was this calm after several visits of this place here in Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental. I had a few luck with sunset photography as well as silhouette shots. We're limited to sharing just 5 pictures per post so this is it for now.

What are we supposed to be doing on a weekend?
I heard on the news last night that today would be a rainy day except on the evening so I never thought of going to the city or have a motorcycle ride. I have no work for today so I woke up late and came out of my room past 10AM. I had to do my laundry since I don't have available clothes to wear if I plan to go out of the apartment. In two hours time, my clothes have dried up and I had my lunch. With nothing else to do, I just looked around on the once idle part of the lot. Six months after the destructive Typhoon Odette, weeds took over and some were even flowering. Then, I started spotting various kinds of insects from one plant to another.

Happy Friday everyone! Do you have any plans to spend the day elsewhere?
It's also the 24th of June and there are many festivities around the country to celebrate the Feast of St. John the Baptist. Many people go to beaches to swim. If we are not in the pandemic, for sure the coastal area nearby would be full of people and there would be lots of fun. I tried to check earlier but there were still few people having picnic or swimming in the vicinity of our office. There was actually a family beside that talisay tree (1st picture). The sea is calm and I really would love to swim today if only we don't have work today.
I was at the mangrove area near the creek around 4PM yesterday and the water was so calm so that you can clearly see the the sky's reflection (2nd picture). The afternoon sun was also showing its beauty behind those trees (3rd and 4th picture). I went to the beach around 5PM but it was still bright although there were dark clouds near the horizon so I decided to go home first and was back past 6PM. A few people were hanging around and these two were walking nearby (5th picture) as I was trying my luck with silhouette photography.
Let's thank the Lord our God for giving us another day to live.
I'm here enjoying the morning sunshine and nature's blessings before spending the whole day in front of the computer and on paperworks. It's relaxing to the eyes when you're surrounded by greeneries. Along the way I stumbled on a ripe citrus fruit about the size of a golf ball. I looked up and found out that there were more up on the tree but still green, some were even bigger in size. I know they taste sour but definitely useful.
Good morning everyone. We are just in the middle of the week so I hope that we all can overcome life’s challenges and have the strength to endure the workload set before us for the entire week.
The sun is up and shining so I'm back at capturing it's colorful rays. For sure the plants are loving today's sunshine as they open their petals, big or small. The insects are loving it too. I saw one which found a nice place to stay overnight, the variegated pandan plant. I'm just sorry that I disturbed his peace while it's taking its rest so it moved a little. There are also ants which are back in action and found this pink flower to be a good target.
Have you tried building sand castles before?
Somebody may have made these sand castles and left them since it's getting dark and about to rain. We used to play at the beach when we're young and making sand castles is one of our pastime. Back then there were still no gadgets and since we live by the beach in Iloilo, we play on the sandy shore at sunset and go home when it's already dark.
