Well, you cannot overlook the donation that SBF makes to the political party. FTX was good at creating a good image in crypto. You cannot believe everything you hear in crypto. It is true that you are dealing with high risk when you get involved in crypto.

People are dumb sheep. They want someone who tells them what to do and to believe. Look at all the crypto influencers on Youtube and Twitter. How can a promotion account be so successful even when they talk trash? And it's not only the crypto area. People really believe that the girl on Instagram showing her new lipstick (creme, makeup, or whatever) bought that herself. No, it's a gift from the company, and ofc she will say that product is awesome. In the crypto world, it is just worse because there is way more money involved and so many people get scammed without knowing it. They just follow blindly the influencers... sad. I wish more people would start thinking a bit more skeptic.
Following someone blindly (even if you think he is an expert) in crypto is the fastest way of getting rekt. I see people who are good at different things about crypto lose money. Now when Instagram influencers come and suggest buying a cryptocurrency, that's a big NO. Today I watched a video where a girl shares news about crypto. She's a teen, and got involved in crypto one and a half years ago. Do people take crypto advice from her? Probably you see some people will do. I respect people who are sharing their knowledge about crypto. When you make any financial decision, that decision should be yours.
