Life is short, Live it, Enjoy it!
I abide with the saying, "Live life to the fullest". Everything on ground is temporary. It is really hurtful to think and see other people, surrendering to live their lives, commiting suicides, abusing it with alcohol and drugs, especially when they are filled with anxieties, depressions, disappointments in life, and a lot more. As an only child, attention is not a problem, but the problem there is when that attention became too much. My parents was very strict to me in everything, in what I eat, I drink, I look like, how I dress-up, to whom I am with. They should know before I done anything, and its strangling me. But later on, I did realized, its for my own good. They were just doing it for my sake. Our parents are making decisions for our safety. We should learn to accept and listen to them. They are not doing it for their own satisfaction but for ours, to be able to have foundation in every journey we take. At the end of the day, they are still our beloved parents, who cherished us, support us every step of the way. They are our number one fan. Even when we are in time of troubles, they are the first ones who are ready to give their help. We should learn from them, even if sometimes they are giving us a hard time.
As I grow older, I faced a lot of disappointments in life, at school, at work, even at home eventually. I cried a lot, burying in myself the pain that I felt inside. I never want to talk to anyone, even to my parents, I really have a hard time dealing with it all alone. I was crying till dawn overthinking about everything. I was in vain. I was in pain. No one knows what I really felt inside and what I am struggling to. I was wondering what might be the reason for all of these mess. I, myself, tried to commit suicide many times, but I realized why would I bury myself to hell if I can still solve it, live for it, and fight for it? There are many questions and I know, I am the only one to answer it. I engaged myself to gather friends, "REAL friends." I engaged myself to sports, especially Volleyball. I got myself a supportive man, and of course, I learned to listen to my parents and take their advices. And most of all, I, little by little, engaged myself to God. He is my very best friend, He is my backrest, He is my pain reliever. I am blessed and thankful to Him. I was very happy then, finding myself a place to rest. Our lives are full of challenges and disappointments, but we should learn to deal with it and find it enjoyable to live for. And let's widen our minds to open up to Him. He is just waiting for us to call for Him, seek for Him, give our time for Him. I know what you think, Yes! I am a sinner, and I admit that.
