Knowing What Matters Most or Living by Default? *Setting priorities in life is the most difficult one. Wait, maybe following the priority list is way more difficult than that actually.* I guess, we all sort of know what to follow in life and what to not. But sticking with our plan is the hardest one. Because sometimes, life will make you feel like you are floating away from your goals. Then what to do?
Image Source https://pixabay.com/photos/cards-priorities-importance-1076921/ I struggled really hard to decide what to follow when it comes to going with my priorities. Because you know, sometimes it's conflicting, sometimes it doesn't meet other's expectations and all. Coming from a Muslim middle-class family, we grew up with some 'ideas' that was conflicting with our religion and society; both. It's hard to believe but this is what it is. Our social expectation is to achieve a higher career on the other hand there's always a continuous push to follow our religion. In reality, there's no middle point. But we had to decide on a middle point. A person from my country only can relate to this struggle. Now coming to the point... **Should we choose to live on by default, meet social expectations? Or should we really set our priorities and stick with them?** The answer is simple and it always was. But the dilemma lies in whether we have the courage or not. Even if we do, how to make it work!

And not just that, question yourself what actually matters. Don't just live on others' life. It's always your life and you always can bring back the power to decide what to do in your life. *For me, it was difficult but I figured out this. I still face social bully for letting go of many things and choosing family over anything. Not just that, I learned to pick 'what matters most' even in some simple life cases. I'm happy with how I'm living and that matters most.* I know all this sounds really nebulous. It may seem 'just some words' to you. But take a moment to relate with your life and it will start to make meaning, I promise. *Figure out this age-old question, don't live on this puzzle. Life would be more smooth for you.*

Thank you for this. I don't like to live by default so I do the things that make me happy :)
That's great. I also choose to do so and it's so much better. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
I agree that you but family first because in the end, they will be the one who will be there if you need help. You do not need to feel bad when your family is your priority.
Yes, I choose to prioritize my family over everything and it gives me pleasure. Thanks for putting your thoughts in.
