UTI and some other talk. So yesterday, I had to admit my mom to a private clinic for her urinary infection. Also, she's diagnosed with stones in her kidney. She had kidney stones 11 years ago, had to go through a stone removal operation back then. UTI and kidney stone made some serious issues. She is under observation, taking medication, has to be hospitalized for almost a week; will take time to recover.

But this time, this one thing made me feel like I should talk about this. And I guess, this is the right place to make the ladies, as well the men aware of this. *Do you feel shy talking about UTI (urinary tract infections)?* If so, then, Don't. It's normal like any other disease. The thing is, **we try to hide this disease and make it worse.** Ignoring this for days, doing self-medication can make it worse, sometimes. But hiding your pain and not taking action to recover will affect you more. That's exactly what happened to my mom. *So please, know about the symptoms, take measures, go see your doctor if you see any symptoms. Don't wait and drink more and more water, consume grape juice thinking it will be gone. No, take professional suggestions as soon as you found out you are having trouble down there.* If you feel uncomfortable talking about it, see a doctor privately. But never ignore this.

One major reason is, obviously we become too busy taking care of the baby and we ignore our health. Another reason is as we usually receive catheters after giving birth and catch the infection. I can remember, I got UTI after a few months of giving birth to my son. I ignored it for several days, was not getting time to see a doctor, my newborn was also not in good health. And it became worse day by day. I did the same thing I'm saying you not to do. So don't do the same mistake. *Take care of your health, see a doctor, take proper medicine. Don't feel shy about your disease, don't hide. Men, please take care of your wife, your daughter, your mom, your sister. Don't make it difficult for them to talk about this. Make others aware. And stay safe.* Have a good day, everyone.

I haven't heard about UTI and that's because I haven't seen a patient or not into the medical field. Your advice is good, self medication is never the idea thing to do, we should always adopt seeking the professional hand easily. I once had a disease that I handled personally, I must confess it lasted for months until I decided to meet a doctor and that was the end. Thank God
My mom is a little better now. UTI is common yet we ignore or try to hide it. It can be worse and can affect other organs. That's why we should be more careful about it. Sorry to hear about your experience. But you did the right thing, seeing a doctor. Have a good day.
Sorry to hear about your mom but I hope and pray she'd recover very soon. UTI cannot be ignored. I've experienced it in the past and it's not easy.
She is a little better now. Sorry to hear about your experience. Yes, it should not be ignored.
Happy she's a bit better. May she get really well soon. It was a long time ago :)
