A Historical Place:Choto Sona Mosque Assalamualikum. I'm @rejwanahmmed1 . How are you rc friends. Hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. Today I write my article abou the historical place **Choto Sona Mosque.** **Chota Sona Mosque** is one of the oldest mosques in Bangladesh. The facility was built at *Pirojpur village* on the outskirts of Gaur, the capital of ancient Bengal, which is now under *Shibganj police station in Chapainawabganj district of Rajshahi division of Bangladesh*. The mosque was built by a man named **Wali Muhammad** during the reign of **Sultan Ala-ud-Din Shah (1493-1519 AD).** This information is known from an inscription found on the middle door of the mosque. However, the date of construction was not known as part of the date of the inscription was broken. It is only 3 km from *Kotwali gate.* To the south. The mosque is one of the hallmarks of Muslim architecture. It is built in the style of ***Hussain-Shah*** architecture. *Below are some picture of Choto Sona Mosque-*
**Location in map: Sibganj, chapai Nawabganj, Bangladesh**
