This article is my entry for world mental health day! Hope everyone is always there for each other, let's check our friends if they doing fine and make them feel that they are not alone. Also, take care your mental heath as it is kind of health care.

When was the last time you wished you could change something in your life? Perhaps you wish something terrible had never happened in your past or that you weren't dealing with so many stressful situations right now. But, one thing I will tell you, you can't change things because it is destined to happen no matter what you do. So, be it and accept it with open arms without resisting.

However, it is natural for us to feel that way and experienced pain, fear and suffering because these are part of our lives but don't let those things drown you. Also, don't dwell too much on the "what if's" as it can take opportunities and might impact our future.

There are always be problems that are out of our control. Things didn't go according our plans because we don't holding the remote control of life. We can't pause the happiest moment, stop the problems to come in, rewind to change our situations. Therefore, we must accept the reality of life that we don't have control on the things that outside.

In this article, I would like to share with you the radical acceptance that will help us to stop fighting with the reality. Keeping us trapped in the cycle of pain and being attached to it, is not healthy. We should let go the bitterness whenever things didn't go the way we want them to.

What is radical acceptance?

According to Cuncic 2021, it can be defined as the ability to accept situation that are beyond our control without judging them, which is turns reduces the suffering that cause by them.

This only caused us to suffer even more from fear of being not good enough because we feel that all thing around us didn't go what we want. We might feel insecure and doubt and question ourselves "why this things happens" but, one thing we must do if we feel that way, just accept things the way they are without resistance. You will be free after, healing and genuine change might follow.
