The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC)

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is an independent commission constituted and regulated by the Bangladesh Telecommunications Act, 2001 (Act No. 16 of 2001), which deals with the development and regulation of the telecommunication system and regulation of telecommunication services in Bangladesh. BTRC maintains, develops and regulates telecommunication related issues in Bangladesh such as cellular networks, PSTNs, artificial satellites and cables.
