Mother's Day. (Support my mother's surgery with BCH) Yesterday, Sunday, like every second Sunday in May, Mother's Day was celebrated in Venezuela. My family had a peaceful day; we spent time together, and some of us reunited. One of my cousins, who emigrated due to the severe humanitarian crisis we experienced a few years ago and from which we are only now beginning to recover, returned from Colombia for a visit. He now has a life there. For my grandmother and the whole family, it was wonderful to see him again, and it was like reuniting with all the relatives who emigrated and haven't been able to visit us yet. It was the best part of yesterday. Today we gathered at my grandmother's house in Barquisimeto, just 30 km from my home. My mother has been with her for two weeks. My aunts and my mother take turns caring for her, as she is very elderly. Despite any health problems her daughters may have, they continue to care for her. In my mother's case, even with her advanced cataracts, she lives with my grandmother and helps with household chores with the assistance of one of my younger uncles. My brother and I managed to scrape together enough money to buy my mother a good pair of sunglasses to protect her from the sun's glare and UV rays. According to the optometrist, these glasses will help protect and care for her eyes before and after surgery. She liked them very much, and she certainly needed them.

With great hope, I send you this message, a plea for support for my mother's urgent cataract surgery. She is the most important person in my life. Before, I only struggled to find better job opportunities; I'm still looking for them, but I've been persistent. I've learned to accept what I have and live with it. I still have the same desire to get ahead and provide my family with better opportunities, but today, what's important and urgent is the health of the person I love most. Here is the link to help us, with much appreciation and gratitude in advance. https://fundme.cash/campaign/130 bitcoincash:qqr0zl4jznduv88xz8pegu0fx44hatpatgh5rkqenx https://youtu.be/bJ0LUgMtbI8?si=hPcIfWZAOcAMg_8k
