Laughing to keep from crying! Disappointing job interview. (+ fundraising) Today I was at a job interview for a car wash manager position. This car wash is a small business with only one employee, an 18-year-old boy who washes the cars. The owner wanted to talk to me because he can't keep up with the car wash and doesn't trust the guy to collect payments. Furthermore, the owner uses the car wash to offer vehicles on consignment and thus earn a commission if the car is sold. This is an example of how mediocre a job can be and how difficult it is to live with dignity in my country. This person offered me a percentage of the weekly earnings from the car wash, and in the case of a car sale, I would also get a commission. Seeing the volume of cars washed daily and the location of the car wash, it's clear to see that the salary wouldn't be much. It's also very far from my house, so I would have to spend at least $10 or $12 a week on transportation, including my lunch or other meals. Furthermore, the hours aren't fixed because as a manager, I had to be willing to work overtime and all the responsibilities that entails. Speaking with the owner, I learned that my weekly income would be approximately $30. This was very low considering all the responsibilities the position entails. I went with the full intention of finding a good job, but this only made me a little frustrated because I feel like the road to getting out of this situation is getting harder and harder. I'm still trying to get financing to restart my life from scratch and put all this in order. I can dream of helping my mother and my family and being able to move forward. Unfortunately, I had setback after setback until I reached this very low and painful point for me. Even last month, as you can see, I was trying to push my project forward to collaborate with the BCH community until various events worthy of a Netflix series occurred. The plan is very clear and simple: Get funding to work with Binance P2P, get my computer back to work with social media as I've been doing, and continue developing the Spanish-language communications project to spread BCH (Cryptobakery). The amount I'm estimating is $5,000. The goal of this money would be to buy a PC so I can continue working on designs and creating for BCH. It would be able to pay for basic services like internet and work tools like Canva Pro. And I would have a minimum capital to be able to work with Binance P2P. A total of 15 BCH would be ideal. ($400-$600) for the PC. $2,000 to work with Binance P2P. $500 to pay off debts for basic services. The rest would be to consolidate my studies and grow professionally, as well as boost the Cryptobakery project, which I've been working on.
