I love it when I write like this (small part from Book 3 tentatively called The Journey Home) ______________________ And that led to a further revelation. Through the furnace of raw emotion and the chaos of a million scattered thoughts, while still baffled by the meaning of the lesson, I suddenly realised that it hadn’t been about today. It had been about the past. I don’t know how long my tears flowed, but as always she was ready to hold me for a bit longer than I needed. As she held me she whispered repeatedly in my ears that she loved me. And there we stayed locked together in a broken but comforting symbiosis. Finally, as all storms weaken and fade, my tears too ebbed and when she judged the time was right she put her hands on my shoulders and eased my head off her shoulder so she could look into my face. Soft eyes met mine and with gentle thumbs she wiped away the tears. ______________________ and what do you think my friends?
