The last updates have created some interesting reactions and I am pleased to see - certainly in my feed - no anger. There has been some disbelief and even disappointment but it reminds me of one of the standards l try to live by. I don't always manage it but a long time before it became a hashtag I made a consious choice to be kind. And that is what it is - a choice. Each moment presents us with challenges and difficulties and in that moment we can choose how to react (or even not to) and the fact is that kindness costs nothing. A polite word or a word of encouragement can be like gold to many people and make a real difference. So if it costs so little there is no reason why we can't all do it.
