One of the things I love about writing fiction is that sometimes it takes unexpected turns. I was writing a dialogue and as I went with the flow it didn't quite go where I expected it to. It wasn't a digression, more of a deep seated emotional response to the situation that was being described. It does mean however that I will need another chapter to bring it back to where it was supposed to be, but I believe it has added something more. Whether it makes the final cut is another matter of course. #CreativeWriting
