Time for True / False - been a little while Of course I would never do anything like this now! 1) On the UK holiday of Guy Fawkes' Night when living in Albania I built a large bonfire and put in the centre of it a camping gaz bottle which exploded about half an hour after I lit the fire. When asked what had happened I meekly replied 'I think it was a plastic Coca-Cola bottle exploding." 2) My friends and I were bored one winter's night and we decided to target a dead old pine tree in the middle of the park, but it was too damp to burn and the same went for the kindling too. There was no getting around it. So we went to the Church Youth Pastor's house in the semblance of wanting to see him and drink some tea and while he was in the kitchen we found a whole load of newspaper and dry spirit (for cleaning paint brushes) and stole it. We drank the tea and left and I set fire to the tree, which now went up in seconds. Just like Moses (see I did listen) we created our own pillar of fire. 3) When I was about 10 a friend and I were playing with matches and we were lighting them and throwing them away and one caught on a pile of rubbish and very quickly the whole thing was on fire. Fortunately it was nowhere near anything else and we decided very quickly to leave at that point. When we went back the next day there was just some burnt remains and no other damage - so lucky! As always two are completely true and the other is almost true. Which one?
