Don't know how many of you know Nightwish? Their second vocalist Anette was much maligned at the time as some pop princess which was both unjust and just nasty. In Tarja their original vocalist they had a classy soprano and with their current singer Floor they have raw power but neither of them can match Anette's intensity. Ohooo... in college I've got sick at one point, so they send me home by post... or train, can't remember ... everything was in snow. Maybe train, because Parents picked me up at the station and all I had in my this CD which my friend gave me to listen to heal... and it worked... I was stunned by symphony and metal pair.... I liked it (not as much as Therion... but ) Super tender, magical and though all in one... You're right they had a quite some episodes in their story... but never lost their style and unique sounding.... Great one! >D
I know the band by the name but I don't think I've ever heard any of their songs. I si check them out now 😊
