For me the art of writing is all about finding your voice and among other things that was what was eluding me today and then just as I found my voice I had to stop as I had a training session to deliver. I am hoping to pick up where I left off when I go back to it. Anyhow here is a sample of the quality of my writing without giving away exactly what I am writing about. (I didn't write this today btw and I have chosen a first person narrative style as it is in the form of a memoir) .... It was a month later when the snow finally came in the form of a pristine blanket that I thought would usher in the long overdue winter, but just a day later it turned into torrential rain that churned up the snow into a disgusting grey slush before washing it away. Another day later the weather turned so unseasonably mild that it was hard to believe that winter had even visited us, however briefly. As much as I remember the weather, it was what happened the day before the snow finally came that remains branded into my memory. It was a Monday, in fact the last Monday of January and as usual I’d gone to university and there was nothing remarkable about classes and no indication of what was to follow. It wasn’t a good day, but it wasn’t a bad one either – it was just so ordinary and mundane. But that was about to change… .... Intrigued?

Catches my attention, for sure. What kind of story is it?
It is the second part of a trilogy (first part is at the publishers) it is kind of an extreme love story which can get very dark at times with deep psychological insights I have written more in a general post
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a good read.
hope so we will see when part 1 gets released
