One of the most important lessons we can learn in life - and this is one of my key values - is to see people as individuals and not a demographics. The moment we start defining people with we and they (nothing wrong with correct usage of pronouns) we create an "us and them" agenda which ultimately proves to be divisive. Demographics can serve business - but never values! See the individual and base value on that. You ever catch yourself thinking 'Yes but (s)he is...' be careful. That is sometimes warranted but on an individual level. Yes, but "(s)he" is not very nice - fair enough - keep away as much as possible Yes but "(s)he" is gay / black / Asian / old / disabled / foreign or whatever other label you can imagine then just STOP and rethink your values. Just saying... #Communication
