Just posted this on my FB in light of the UK lifting restrictions tomorrow. Makes sense to me . I know people have differing opinions about masks but can I suggest something simple and common sense. If you see somebody wearing a mask then they obviously take it seriously so just back off and give them their own personal (2 metre) space. That's respect. If however somebody is without a mask then whatever "truth you believe then its up to you.' The mask is indicative of people who feel threatened and vulnerable to Covid so as you argue for your right not to wear a mask respect their right to feel safe. Surely that is common sense? Personally I am going to continue wearing a mask in any indoor environment that is open to the public and I will be more than a little irritated if you stand too close. My wife and I have both been double jabbed but we have a potentially vulnerable 3 month old at home!
