As a follow up from my mention of mining and the environment I would like to make the following 2 additional observations. Mining in itself is not such a bad thing - it's possible / potential / actual impacts are the problem. So with this in mind we need to ask ourselves: 1) Where is the electricity sourced from - is it green 2) Can the excessive heat be recycled - pumped into some kind of communal heating / water system for example.?
