just asked this question of another noiser - will be interested in answers How do they do a galaxy "selfie" when it is so vast? What I mean is there are loads of photos of the Milky Way with our Sun highlighted - how is that even possible - where is the 'camera' - otherwise surely it is not a true representation and at best a sophisticated second world war radar screen (you know the ones I mean the circular ones that refresh with every cycle and show blips Thoughts pls :)

Those are the other "arms" of our galaxy. In these cases, the illustration (other Sun like stars and the others in the background) are like a photo about a dog. For example: little doggy called Nosey got the audition for entering to a book about dogs. This information is valuable only to us... but every Cocker Spaniel (Canis Lupus Familiaris) can do for the sake of science. Anyways> we see one, we're like hey, there's Nosey! In the matter of fact ... real photos about the tiny SUN (far away) were taken by the Voyager satellites which had to be launched in 1977 to be able to operate more than 40 years making photographs and communicating back to Earth. Yeah... that is why the resolutions... but after 35 years the Satellite still speeding up reached the interstellar space, so no more in the gravitational space of our Sun. But still 40,000 years for the Voyager to be closer to the next star than our sun. Oh I've got space vibes again!
Oh yes I always loved space and was inspired by a futurist book when I was a child. The Usbourne Book of the Future. Loved that book
Thanks for the inspiration, I'll take a look at it. I'm also planning to speak about these. I liked (well, still read from time to time) Carl Sagan... Fascinating mind over there! I want to be a futurist, so I'm glad you told this. I even made a chamber, soon will be launched some Noise over there, so I'll let you know... Foresight, implementing strategies with new technologies also makes me excited... so That's why I started pushing myself to produce in Business, SciFi ... to have fun and ideas in Futurism >D Oh, I've just started following Sury because of you! Thanks again!
i am also currently working through cosmos on nat geo by one of sagans protégés
Nooooo waaaaay! Awesome! I'll come with questions for sure, and I'm telling you my plan!
