True and False 1) I did jump off a moving train once as I'd fallen asleep when it was in my station and I woke up suddenly and realised. I landed well on the platform SO FALSE Tragically somebody else did something similar a month later and was seriously injured - hence almost true. 2) When I was younger i used to mess around on train lines (not advisable) and it was dark and a train was coming - we were kind of playing chicken - and suddenly a friend grabbed me and shouled my name as he dragged me off. i thought it was still some distance away. Imagine my shock when just a second later it thundered over where I'd been standing. He literally saved my life SO TRUE 3) When I was about twelve my friends and I took an unauthorised day off school - where i come from we call it legging it and at one point in the day we wanted to cross the railway. There was a bridge but it said closed for repairs. We climbed over the barriers and ignored it. The steps were ok. So we carried on. The top part was ok so we carried on and when we got to the other side maybe 6 or 8 steps were missing, but the balustrade was still in place so they carefully inched their way down and I went third. As I was near the middle of the gap my feet slipped and I was left dangling from my arms and at that moment a train came by and it passed 50 cm -(less than 2ft) under me. Had I let go I would have landed on it. So totally TRUE Dont try any of these yourselves good people. I am either a cat or very very lucky!
