Last night Todd-Rah fell asleep clinging on to my finger and when I managed to wiggle it free my wedding ring was left in his hand so I very carefully had to prise his fingers apart to get it back - to much of a choking risk and besides if I said to MamaRah "somebody else has my wedding ring" I think I could be in big trouble..

What a race. Must admit though Max going off in a straight line was one of the funniest things I have seen this year. Brilliant. Just a shame Lewis made a fool of himself a bit later. Checko was a deserving winner - unless he is penalised for the safety car thing - havent heard yet.

Second day of our English adventure. Toddl-Rah is loving it but his idea of any kind of routine is all over the place

One of the things you have got to love about Britain is its delightfully soggy weather. Got drenched in a heavy downpour, not so bad only we had Toddl-Rah with us. Not fun for him.

A miracle last night. ToddlRah slept from 9 until 8 (although he did miss his middle of the day nap) and MamaRah woke up feeling rested. Maybe we should come back to England more often!

So today as part of my visit home I discovered that one of my godson's is a complete metalhead. I am supposed to be the godfather but somehow he seems to be surpassing me. "Once I called you Master" - comes to mind when I think of my young Padawan!

Almost at the end of our visit so this morning we are going to visit one of England's most magnificent cathedrals.

Home. Plane was one hour later due to technical issues and then Todd-Rah fell asleep in Baggage reclaim so we waited him out. Concerning the former it is better to be late than to feature (possibly posthumously) on Nat Geo's Aircrash Investigation! Only I forgot my reading glasses so I am going to be using superlarge fonts!

So I am going into hospital at 8am on Sunday for an operation on Monday and then hopefully I will be home by this time next week.

Normal service seems to have been resumed. I am going to have a go at the app while I am in hospital so I can keep noising. It seems that Noise has removed my tipping capacity again because of inaction when I was in England last week. Doesn't really matter that much though because I love the community and that's what keeps me going. Just a question about the app - is there a better download to use or should I just get it through Google Play

Back home now recuperating. Far from fully restored, but at least I can just about walk to the toilet and back. Toddl-Rah is not sure what to make of his (currently) semit-crippled dad, Despite being back home I didn't sleep well last night, but sleep will come later.

Quite a race last night. Max was always going to get Lewis and I had even thought by lap 51 before it happened (the tv predictors are usually several laps too early). Pleased nobody was hurt in the crashes. I can see how George was to blame (yes @CryptoBaby I did just write that), but there was very little he could do to avoid Sainz on the opening bend

Leg swollen and getting stiffer even as I walk more and more (but not too much yet) Just managed about 25m in one stint and that is my best so far.

Everyday is a fight at the moment for me to walk again properly so between pain, exercising and trying to walk there isn't much Noise going on. Normal service will soon be resumed I hope.

A week ago I could barely walk. In fact I came home in an ambulance and had to be carried to the sofa and then transferred by a kind of bear-hug. That first two days I was so weak that even going to the toilet was a feat of endurance Now it is a week later and I have just had my daily private physio visit and have managed some actual stairs. Only 9 up and another 9 down but it's progress. #gettingstronger

Today has been tough. I can see progress but i am beginning to get frustrated that I can't do so much more. If I were running a marathon I would say I have hit the wall. Managed to do my physio though but today it was down to gril and determination as my motivation was flagging. To walk properly again though I must keep going. MamaRah and Todd-Rah deserve it. Anyhow now I am going to watch the F1, which I suspect will be a Max procession so I might not even make it to the…
