The US has become a dark place... they now are even restricting prisoners from getting access to books... so much for trying to improve and rehabilitate our incarcerated citizens. Even books the prisoners are not allowed to have it? Why? oh why? Books is the only thing they can read and learn while staying inside the four corners of the room
I really don't understand why they do that. America has always been a free country for one to express what they feel and to learn and overcome always. It is even a great opportunity for prisoners to have access to educational material and to rehabilitate themselves for those who are sorry for their wrongdoing. So I think they are making a mistake and they should not deprive anyone of secular education, least of all someone who is incarcerated and who, perhaps, is making changes to improve and be a different person.
