Been here a long time. Sad to see the economics here change so drastically. Engagement seems way down, at least for my friends.

Like-tips still work. They are just not visualized. I admit I liked the visual feedback before better.
Same, they definitely should show those at least to the original poster. I find seeing tips is a good incentive to keep posting. When you don't see them, then it feels like no activity.
Yes, exactly. It is basically a UX/dopamine thing. Just like when games use a certain sound and particle animation to signal that something valuable has been picked up. It is not neccessary "per say", but it gives the player satifaction (dopamine) and keeps the player going for more.
I'm not sure why it was changed to hide tips from the fund, or if they're even still running seriously. That was driving a lot of traction. It is unfortunate though, I agree the difference has bee noticeable.
