Oh! that was an expensive one but i think for the bike lovers that price is worth it because that bike is so light and it has a good design. We can hardly afford bikes that cost $100. So most probably we cannot afford this kind of bike.

Yes it is crazy expensive! However, the technology needs to start somewhere. Battery powered bikes will go down in price, as long as there is long term demand!
