If you are quite familiar with Javanese cuisine, maybe you have tasted one of them that uses kecombrang. Kecombrang is indeed a typical spice from Java. Kecombrang flower, is a spice plant commonly used as a cooking spice. Flowers are large, with a red crown and stem. Kecombrang has a unique taste, slightly sour and astringent. One of my favorite dishes is sambal Kecombrang, a unique taste sensation. Sour and astringent taste of kecombrang combined with spicy taste of chili makes appetite increase sharply. lol
