A beautiful edible flower, we call it "Kecombrang". This flower is most favorite in mountain communities because of its distinctive taste, delicious and has a fragrant smell when cooked. This flower is my favorite food when I return to my hometown. Actually, there are many traditional markets that sell this flower, but I think it tastes better when I am pick it directly from origin, haha. Many processed foods that can be made from this flower, made into sambal are also very delicious. The people here often use this flower as a mixture of dishes to get a more delicious taste and smell is also fragrant. How about my friend there? Is there also growing flowers like this?
