Three types of attitudes: arrogant, naive and teachable. Arrogant people think they don't need to learn anything from anyone. Naive people believe that only one person can teach them everything. While the teachable people learn from Everyone and everything tgat is around them.

Wise. Proverbs 3:7 (NIV) Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. Is telling us that to be wise in our eyes is liking us to be evil and you say, how it is that evil why is it strong will consider the garden. Adan and Eve in the garden the Lord says do not eat from the tree of knowledge because that is taking your wisdom into your own hands making in yourselves the center the reference for wisdom and God saying don't do that instead fear me, reverence me, be and all at me and my wisdom. And when you do that making God the center will shunning the evil that tries to save in and you can all things base on your own wisdom. You know enough when the reality is we don't. We see in (Romans 12:16 Live in harmony in one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.) Because being wise in your own sight is that what you get in trouble. We make the Lord the center he were find our wisdom

Serve Like Jesus Point 2 Paul reminded the Corinthians that the mark of the new church was love. And love, as we learn in the Chapter 13, puts others befire self. We are supposed to used the gifts we received from the Spirit of God for others for their flourishing, their aid, their encouragement. Remembering that our spiritual gift were meant for the betterment of others should help us avoid the sedductive glow of the limelight. Jesus said himself, The Son of Man came not to be served, and to give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). To mimic our Savior means to serve with humility on behalf of others. If our gifts thrusts us on stage, we acknowledge God who enables us. If they send us backstage, we praise him for empowering us to participate fully in his purposes. By keeping our eyes off ourselves and on others, his love flows through us and the Body of Christ flourishes. Instead of Look at Me! we say, Look at Jesus! Prayer Lord, thank You for giving me unique spiritual gifts. Please help me discover what gifts are. And help me learn how to use them to serve my brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen Thanks for spending time with me.

Serve Like Jesus Point 1. Look at me, Mom! says the three yeal old standing on the coffee table wearing a princess dress and holding a spatula to her mouth. She loves performing, but without a appropriately attentive audience, it's just not as fulfilling. Look at me, We don't really outgrow our desire to be noticed and appreciated, though we try to be more sophisticated about it. We glamorize anyone with talent or accomplishment (or notoriety). In the church, we idolized our singers, authors, and pastors, enthrusting them with the authority in our lives. If such author said it, it must be true. The pastor teaches so dynamically he must be super-spiritual. So idolazation lead us two ways: we feel enadequate compare to others since our gifting hasn't resulted in semilar celebrity status. Or we move from administration to envy, wanting the gifts they have in order to receive the attention to receive. Those self-centered tendencies are not new. In our passage today, we see that the Corinthian Christians also suffered from a "look at me" syndrome. It appears they wanted to more visible more authoritative gifts. Those with less attention getting gifts were being ignored, considered less than. The Corinthians had fallen prey to the age old temptation of considering bigger to the better, public to be preferable. To be Continue...
