Do you know if I can just send my $STA to my Fantom wallet which looks like an ERC-20 wallet? Or do I need to do any additional setups? #statera #fantom #crypto #ethereum

Will Smith resigns from the Academy after slapping Chris Rock on the night of the #oscars I think this is the right thing to do. Agreed he was emotional but he could have just walked up to Chris Rock, took the mic from him and said whatever he wanted to say. He didn't have to slap him!

Elon Musk about philanthropy - how crypto can help! I was just reading an article that came out today where Elon Musk says (rightly) that it's very hard to give away money in terms of charity and charitable donations if you really care about the outcomes of what you're giving the money out for. Elon Musk says it's 'very hard to give away money effectively' if you care more about the outcomes than the optics of philanthropy (msn.com) https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/elon-musk-says-it-s-very-hard-to-give-away-money-effectively-if-you-care-more-about-the-outcomes-than-the-optics-of-philanthropy/ar-AAVx99d?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=f0af69f152f141fe8ce01eee60c80ea6 Above is the link to the article. I 100% agree with Elon. There is so much red tape and so much bureaucracy in the giving world that in some cases it is said that less than 10% of the money donated actually goes to the cause that you have donated to and the rest goes into the hands of the people managing the organization either through operational costs or just plain corruption! This is the hard reality. So naturally you may ask, are we doomed? Is there no hope at all? This is where blockchain comes in to save the day and the world! A lot of these transactions are either untraceable and simple people don't want things to be traced and audited. If we implement a full transparency enabled blockchain system where every step of the giving process is on chain and can be traced back to who did what, I think this will solve that problem. People like Elon have said they have no issue in giving, they just want full accountability and full transparency and this is completely possible if the whole process goes on the blockchain and I really hope someone is building it or actively working towards it. If you are a developer or an entrepreneur, this is a great idea for you to work on to make the world a better place. What do you think?

How is crypto already changing the world for the better? We are also passionate about crypto currencies in our own way and we each have our own platform and coin of choice but have we ever taken a step back and thought how crypto is actually changing our world and making the world a better place at an accelerated rate? I got around to this thought when an incident recently happened and this really got me thinking about this! **Opportunity** What is this really? And what are the advantages of people who have this opportunity? The opportunity of making money was and still is concentrated only with a small percentage of the world and even with that, the vetting process is so ingrained in the faults of the current world that opportunity only presents itself to whoever is buried deeply and conforms with the system (which is corrupt to begin with). So, who are the beneficiaries of opportunities when they present themselves? The people who are in the system obviously. Crypto currencies and platforms like read, noise, publish0x, hive etc where you can use a pseudonym and just offer whatever you can offer to the world without being judged by your past and without giving people a chance to judge you by the privileges you don't have is a very powerful thing. As long as you can deliver on stuff like creating good content, you will get paid, you will get monetized and that is a powerful thing. With the advent of the Internet of Money and crypto currencies, all of this is possible and this is changing the world right now in a very profound way! https://read.cash/r/potta https://noise.cash/u/potta https://www.publish0x.com/?a=QK9b6AlaEv https://d.buzz/#/?ref=potta

The state of the market I am writing this post as of the second week of January 2022. Things are pretty dull, uneventful and borderline sad in my personal life. I often turn to stock and crypto markets during times like these and over the last couple of years the markets have given me some solace but the last few months have been bad on all fronts. The crypto markets in particular seem to be behaving very strangely because I have actually seen so many positive articles on so many new entities looking to get into this space like GameStop is looking to get into NFTs now and things like that. Many unusual players have been looking to venture into crypto but the markets have not been reacting appropriately. Some coins especially BCH have taken a big beating and I hope they recover soon. I just wanted to mention that tough times like these don’t last, only tough people do. So don’t lose hope. Try to stay happy and try to stay positive. In fact I would stack as many sats as I can in times like these because god know what that will end up being a few years down the line. When you need perspective with the markets you always need to zoom out. Add to this, the Omicron variant is also not bringing any joy in peoples lives. The hospitalizations are in record numbers. So I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and together we will come out of this stronger with much deeper pockets!

No jab, no job? Really? I came across this article on CNN Business recently and I cannot even comprehend how much power these companies have and what they can get away with. For reference, here is the article https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/07/business/citigroup-unvaccinated-employees-fired/index.html Citigroup has basically asked all of its employees to get vaccinated by mid to end January and if they don't then they are fired. I absolutely don't intend to take sides politically on this vaccine issue but with remote work become more and more of the normal nowadays and with the world seeing so many variants of the novel corona virus and with so many people who hesitate to take the vaccines for many reasons, I don't think this makes any sense. It just shows the arrogance of these companies and they think they can get away with anything because they have so much money on their hands. There are also religious reasons why some people are not willing to take the vaccines. So would Citigroup fire even those workers who refuse to take vaccines for religious reasons? This needs to go to court. I wonder if people will have enough courage to take Citigroup to court.

Wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2022! #happynewyear

You can’t control market volatility but you can control the fact that you can stack some sats every day. Make sure to do it. #stacksats #crypto
