As Expected...

BTC is a peer to peer bag holding system.

BSV is a Calvin to Calvin weather data system.

Clearly both those splits were necessary.

One between two competing peer to peer electronic cash systems was not.

Jiang Zhuoer is perhaps the biggest single BCH holder.

All he wanted was to increase the utility of Bitcoin Cash, hoping that price action will follow.

The IFP was a good idea, with a few flaws that needed to be fixed.

Devs got elated about the opportunity to abuse those exact flaws and made it about themselves.

Now that the IFP is completely discredited, the only possible outcome was for miners to call it quits.

And, as expected they did.

Dear community, next time think of the incentives. Zhuoer was never going to proceed with this, as it would have done the opposite of what he intended.

The panic was completely unnecessary, and all it did was weaponise our opponents.

Yours truly,

Pindleskin

The (rightful) panic is what CAUSED him to pull out, so it actually was necessary.

The unreasonable panic is what caused him to pull out and it was absolutely unnecessary and resulted in a far bigger problem. Just because you cannot see it, doesn't mean it is not there. People will start raising flags in the next weeks and months, just like they did with Calvin, until we finally wake up, when it is as always, too little to late.

I give you the opportunity to tell me the 3 best reasons this shitshow and fake-libertarian hysteria was a "rightful" panic. I would love to see, if these are the same reasons, that I think are absolutely unreasonable.
