Today in history: Saint Joan of Arc is burned at the stake after being convicted of witchcraft and heresy by an English Court (1431 CE) The trial of Joan of Arc was reviewed as early as 1452 CE, found to be invalid, and Joan was exonerated and proclaimed a martyr in 1456 CE.
