I thought I'd share my poem "Sadness" with you today. I wrote it in 1993, but have only now translated it into English. I don't know if I translated it well, you judge, he-he)) Sadness descended on my shoulders. The grass in my driveway has withered away. But I'm not afraid of anything anymore, It's all wind, empty words. Ridiculous life beneath the shards of sleep, Swinging in a gray, ridiculous hammock. Not soon, but quickly, gone forever, Forgetting pride in a wooden chest. And yet there is laughter on the other side. Above those who love themselves most, And the sky sings with the voices of all those. Who flew away before, without waiting for me. Flight without beginning and without end, Like light without sockets or wires. And living hearts bursting out. Hey, who's not ready to fly yet?!
