This is an ancient Buddhist stupa I photographed in Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. No one knows how old it is, it's that old. My friends and I assumed it was still receiving signals from space... I think there are probably some Buddhists among my subscribers. Can you tell me what these stupas are made for and what functions they have? If you are not a Buddhist, what do you think they were put up for in all the cities?

In my country, there are no other religions here, Christianity and Islam, so we only know about Buddha through reading
I am surprised there are no Buddhists in your country... I thought every country had them
