I took these photos in Laos in 2013. They are posters in the style of socialist realism, of which there were once many in my country of the USSR. They depict the people who are the backbone of the country - laborers, doctors, teachers, police. This is only possible in socialist countries. Where there is capitalism, we are forced to be heroes of promiscuous television stars, silly shows, rich people boasting of their wealth. But the main treasure of any country is ordinary people with a good heart. What do you think? Who is the hero in your country?
