In this picture, Europeans in Africa undergo a rite of initiation with the psychoactive substance ibogin. In the Americas, similar rites are performed with ayahuasca; in Siberia shamans used an infusion of fly agaric to allow the spirit to detach itself from the body and escape into the other world. For most people this is all very taboo, but I wonder if you had (or have) anything like this in your country?

I will tell you a funny thing. I know through the Syrian drama that in the closed Islamic society they believe in nonsense. They say that it is possible for a genie to live in you. Then they take the person to a sheikh and he beats this person until the genie comes out of him. Oh my God, backwardness and ignorance make me really angry.
Don't you believe in genies? Or don't believe they can possess a person?
