Opal Wallet campaign is live: what exists, what needs review Opal Wallet's campaign is live now.
I posted the X announcement and a short note in BCH Builders, but I am still trying to keep this first push pretty measured. Before I push the campaign much wider, I want more Bitcoin Cash builder review. Short version: Opal is a Swift-native iPhone and Mac wallet for Bitcoin Cash. It is not just a mockup or a landing page. The app already has working wallet creation, restore, receive address generation, balance sync, send, signing, broadcast, transaction history, transaction detail states, and wallet management. There are still rough edges. That is the point of this phase. I want to get it from working app to production-ready wallet, with more people able to inspect the assumptions and push back on the parts that look weak. The consumer app and frontend are not open source. The public side is the Swift Bitcoin Cash stack around it: Opal Base, SwiftFulcrum, OpalCrypto, OpalFusion, and OpalHedge. That is where Apple-platform Bitcoin Cash plumbing can be inspected, reused, criticized, and improved. The FundMe.cash campaign is for a six-month production-readiness pass. The target is 350 BCH. The work is mostly the unglamorous stuff: reliability, recovery validation, transaction-state handling, App Intents-ready wallet actions, demos, docs, public stack updates, and monthly reporting. The App Intents part is easy to overstate, so here is the boundary. I want safe wallet actions to fit into Apple-platform workflows where that makes sense: receive, request, activity lookup, payment preparation, and similar actions. Signing and broadcasting BCH should still come back to Opal for review and local authentication before money moves. What I would like reviewed: weak assumptions in the campaign page unclear wallet UX or missing evidence questionable technical scope unsafe or overbroad App Intents boundaries public-stack work that looks underexplained Campaign context: opalwallet.cash/fundraising/ Direct FundMe.cash pledge page: fundme.cash/campaign/144
