Last week on my trip to London on the bike I stopped at the Lee Valley Whitewater centre for lunch. Site of the Canoe Slalom event for the Olympic games, London 2012. The water is pumped round by powerful pumps and I happened to arrive as they were being turned on. I took a short video to share with you, it's a clever bit of engineering.
