Cause and effect

I have been learning about the theory of general relativity, quantum mechanics and particuarly the strange phemomenen of 'quantum entanglement'

Einstiens theory of general relativity states that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.

With 'quantum entanglement' particles which are 'entangled' and then seperated will then remain entangled no matter the distance between them.

If you were to spin one entangled particle in one direction the other would spin in the opposite direction instantaneously which is a violation of the one of the laws of relativity, that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light!

Or is it?

Do the two entangled particles actually communicate with one another?

Or is it the case that the two particles which were entangled have a shared history and are constantly correlated with the state of one instaneously reflected in the other as if they stitched together across space and time no matter the distance, somehow without the need to communicate any information!

This video explains the strange phenomenon which sounds crazy but has actually been observed in the lab.

So one particle causes an effect in the other no matter the distance, it is really far out and not fully understood. It has been dubbed 'Spooky Action' and Einstien never accepted that this was possible, well it sure is weird!

Particles behave in a very unusual way on a quantum level!

This experiment has only been observed with tiny particles so far, but could it be replicated on a larger scale?

Who knows, but it's fair to say that the science is far from settled.

Einstien had many theories about the universe and space time. He believed that the universe was static until 1931.

Einsten was a genius who came up with the theory of relativity. Picture courtesy of pixabay.

1932 he finally agreed with the Dutch theoretical physicist and astronomer, Willem de Sitter, that the universe was eternally expanding.

That raises a question for me. If the universe has been eternally expanding, then it must have been expanding for an infinite amount of time already!

This is known as the 'Infinite Universe Paradox'

In an ageless universe the sky should be completly dark with no visible stars as they would have already cooled and be an infinite distance away as there would already have been an infinite amount of time for the universe to expand.

Therefore I conclude that the universe must have a begining and a cause.

The cause could only be something supernatural which cannot be explained by the laws of science.

The bible says that God is the 'Alpha and the Omega' the begining and the end, he has always existed and this is where science breaks down and we have to accept this by faith.

It is the most plausible answer to the question of where we came from and how the universe came into existence.

I believe that the Lord God created the universe and stretched out the heavens according to his will. There are many references to this in scripture as I have posted below.

In Issiah 42:5 the following is written.

Verse 5: Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

The book of Job also suggests that the universe is expanding.

In Job 38:31 it says the following.

Verse 31: Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Genesis chapter 1:16 states the following.

Verse 16: And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

The Lord created the universe and made the stars also. Picture courtesy of pixabay.

Does the universe have an edge and if so what is on the other side? I'll think of an answer to that question another day.
