Benzema on Fire. Karim Benzema has been in fine form for Real Madrid especially in the UEFA Champions League this term and his brace helped Real Madrid get a step closer to qualifying for the knock out round. After an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Sheriff, Real Madrid hasn't looked back as they kept on grinding out the result. They are first in the group and Shakhtar are languishing in 4th position. Real Madrid travelled to Ukraine the last time out and won Shakhtar Donetsk on their turf with a comprehensive 5-0 victory but this time around they edged the Ukrainian by 2 goals to 1.
