Confused. She tried to impress others to her detriment Her loyalty is misplaced just as her sentiment She thrives on other people's compliment As she lived needing and seeking other's approval She forgot her values - she forgot she is different She wanted to be like others desperately Because she felt life was passing her by too fast But she made her choices - now she couldn't live with it As she decided to act completely against what matters How do you explain a married woman acting like a splinter? How else do you explain a grown-up who is afraid of the light? She is light but she kicked it aside just to partake of darkness Lies filled her mouth with no guilt within her heart Slippery slope she is on but she can only help herself I can never understand this world, as it is How everyone is trying to fit in when they were meant to stand out Confusion? Misplaced priorities? Indecisiveness?
