Today's Prayer. Yesterday's gone, today is here, tomorrow is a stranger; unknown, but this day, give our ears strength to hear, give our eyes courage to see from far and near, fill our hearts with contentment for the things we own, yet give us the ability not to be complacent with little, equip us with the tenacity to make our good best, and the energy to make our best better, Give us sight to read beyond the letters and the mind to count beyond the numbers; our blessings. Benefits! Benefits! Benefits! Let life befit us, let us be fit for life, may our efforts gather in a great feat and blessings be upon our feet may joy be all over our sheets may peace spread on our streets when we are down, may we find lifts and in need, may we find gifts may we not lose our courage to contend for our daily bread and finally, may we find the hope we seek this day.
