Providing CashToken Liquidity and earning interest Getting started with CashTokens I recently wrote an article on how to get started with CashTokens on the BitcoinCash blockchain. https://read.cash/@nomadghada/setting-up-for-cashtokens-09388b99 Where I showed how you can easily create a supported wallet and use it to interact with DEX like https://app.cauldron.quest/ There is so much more you can do with CashTokens and I am exploring it everyday, there is a great post by BCHfaq explaining the CashTokens in simple language https://bchfaq.com/what-are-cashtokens/ You can check BCHfaq to learn about more CashTokens projects. Providing Liquidity Now, since I have set up everything on my wallet I want to explore providing liquidity on CashTokens DEX In my previous article I brought 1 MUSD which is a stablecoin For this propose I am again heading to Cauldron DEX Here on the top left side we have an option for '**Pools**'
After we clicked on Pools I see that I don't have any active liquidity positions
So lets click on '**Add a new position**'
And I will see all the pools that are available on the DEX along with the APY (the interest you can earn from it).
Let's choose MUSD-BCH because I already have 1 MUSD
And then I will see the details of this pool
Now I am going to enter 1 MUSD and it will automatically enter the equivalent BCH required for this pair
Now you need both tokens in your wallet to provide liquidity. I have both 1.00 MUSD and 0.00226281 BCH so I am going to click on '**ADD LIQUIDITY**' Now it will ask me to approve the transaction on my wallet
And I will approve this in my wallet
Now this will take some time to get approve on the blockchain
And both 1.00 MUSD and 0.00226281 BCH would be transferred out of my wallet. However, you would still be able to see your provided liquidity on the DEX even before it is confirmed
And that's it, now this liquidity should grow periodically. I'll keep an eye on this liquidity and perhaps write an update on it as well. But that's all there is to providing liquidity on CashTokens (*apart from withdrawing obviously, but that's for a future*)
